J.J. said: "I wrote Dancing Shoes for a scene where George is an apprentice at Old Trafford and the trainer shouts: 'Hey Best, get your boots on and get on the park'.
"George replies: 'They're not my boots, they're my dancing shoes'."
Best has been namechecked in hits by Bono of U2, Van Morrison and The Streets.
The Wedding Present even named their debut album after him.
Barbara said: "George loved music and would have been tickled his story was being told in song."
She admits it will be an emotional moment when the curtain goes up for the charity premiere.
